This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces LY/T 1620-2004 "Electric Lawn Mower". The main technical changes compared with LY/T 1620-2004 are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model preparation methods and basic parameters of the rotary knife step type electric lawn mower (hereinafter referred to as lawn mower).
Number, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard is applicable to lawn mowers with single-phase AC rated voltage not exceeding 250V and rated motor power not exceeding 3kW.
