1 Scope

This standard specifies classification, requirements for raw materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packing, transport, marking and storage of glass fiber & magnesium cement board. This standard is applicable to glass fiber & magnesium cement board made through mechanical rolling by reasonably preparing and modifying magnesium oxide (MgO), magnesium chloride (MgCl2) or magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) and water (H2O) ternary system, reinforcing with glass fiber mesh or other materials and taking light materials as the filler. Glass fiber & magnesium cement board is mainly used for indoor non-bearing internal partition wall and suspended ceiling and for baseplates of various decorative sheets.

GB/T 5464-1999 "Non-combustibility Test Method for Building Materials" GB/T 701.9-1997 "Test Methods for Fiber Cement Products" GB/T 8077-2000 "Methods for Testing Uniformity of Concrete Admixture" GB 8624-1997 "Classification for Burning Behavior of Building Materials and Products" GB/T 9775-1999 "Gypsum Plasterboard" JC/T 449-2000 "Raw Materials for Magnesia Cement" JC 561-1994 "Fiber Glass Mesh" JC 646 "Technical Standard for Glass Fiber Magnesium Oxychloride Cement and Composite Material Ventilation Duct" 46.1 Specimen 6.1.1 The specimen curing age shall not be less than 28d. 6.1.2 3 specimens shall be a group for detecting appearance quality, specification and dimension, and then each specimen shall be sampled for determining the physical and mechanical properties. 6.1.3 The specimens shall be in an environment with 25 ±3 and relative humidity ℃ ℃ less than or equal to 90% for 2d. 6.2 Test procedure 6.2.1 Specification, dimension and appearance quality shall be carried out according to GB/T 9775-1999. 6.2.2 Rupture strength, moisture content, apparent density and shock strength tests shall be carried out according to JC 646. 6.2.3 Drying shrinkage and bulking factor shall be carried out according to GB/T 7019-1997. 6.2.4 Screw grip force shall be carried out according to Appendix A (Normative). 6.2.5 Chloride ion content shall be carried out according to GB/T 8077-2000. 6.2.6 Non-combustibility shall be carried out according to GB/T 5464-1999. 6.2.7 Halogenide resistance. randomly cut one 200mm×200mm block respectively on 3 plates of one group of specimens, put them into a temperature humidity chamber with relative humidity larger than or equal to 90% and temperature at 30 ~35 , and take them ℃ ℃ out after 24h to observe whether there is water drop or damp.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Inspection items 7.1.1 Delivery inspection. including specification and dimension, appearance quality, rupture strength and halogenide resistance. 7.1.2 Type inspection. all items in technical requirements. 7.2 Sampling and judgment 7.2.1 Delivery inspection 7.2.1.1 Batch 2000 glass fiber & magnesium cement boards with the identical grade and identical specification shall be taken as one batch, if insufficient, it may also be taken as one batch for examination. The acceptance shall be carried out in the manufacturing plant. 7.2.1.2 Judgment of sampling a) Appearance quality and specification and dimension inspection. 3 boards from each batch shall be taken from different stacks for appearance quality and specification and dimension inspection. If one item of 1 board therein does not conform to the standard requirements, double boards shall be taken from the identical batch for reinspection of this item, ; b) Inspection of physical and mechanical properties. use above-mentioned 3 specimens with qualified appearance and dimension deviation to conduct rupture strength and halogenide resistance test, if any index does not conform to this standard requirements, 6c) For the acceptance of moisture content, apparent density, halogenide resistance and fire resistance of glass fiber & magnesium cement board, 3 specimens shall be cut randomly from the identical batch, if the test result of one board does not meet the requirements, double boards shall be taken for reinspection. If the test result of one board does not meet the requirements still after reinspection, this batch of products shall be judged as rejected products; d) Judgment. when all the indexes in type inspection meet this standard requirements, this batch of products shall be judged as qualified.

8 Marking, Packing, Transport and Storage

8.1 Marking In delivery, the manufacturer shall issue product certificate and supply it to the user accompanied with product, and indicate therein. a) Manufacturer name, address and trademark; b) Product batch number and product mark; c) Product inspection result; d) Signature of inspection department and inspector. 8.2 Packing The front of each glass fiber & magnesium cement board shall be indicated with manufacturer name, production date and product specification via fadeless paint. The products may be packed through container or bundling, and the packing shall guarantee product safety and handling convenience. Designation and batch number shall be indicated on the package. 8.3 Transport In transport and handling, the products shall be fixed and free from throwing and mutual impact; the bottom surface of transport means shall be flat and smooth and provided with rain protection measures. 8.4 Storage Glass fiber & magnesium cement boards shall be stacked according to different grades and specifications.
