Preface
GB/T 8570 "Determination of liquid anhydrous ammonia method" is divided into seven parts.
- Part 1. Adoption of laboratory samples;
- Part 2. Ammonia content;
- Part 3. Residue content weight method;
- Part 4. Residual content volumetric method;
- Part 5. Moisture Fisher Fischer;
- Part 6. Oil content gravimetric and infrared absorption spectroscopy;
- Part 7. Iron content - phenanthroline spectrophotometric method.
This part is part 3 of GB/T 8570.
This part of the replacement of GB/T 8570.3-1988 "liquid anhydrous ammonia residue content determination of weight method."
The main differences between this edition and the previous edition are.
Preparation and calibration of reagent solutions, standard titration solutions, etc. Execution of HG/T 2843 standards;
--- increase the contents of the security warning;
- standardize the standard format according to the new requirements.
This section is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This section is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Fertilizers and Soil Conditioners (SAC/TC105).
This part of the drafting unit. the National Fertilizer Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai), the Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. Security Department.

This part was first published in 1988.
Determination of liquid anhydrous ammonia
Part 3. Residue content weight method
WARNING - Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not indicate all possible security questions
question. It is the responsibility of the user to take appropriate safety and health measures and to ensure compliance with the conditions of the relevant national laws. Liquid anhydrous ammonia high
Toxic to the skin, mucous membranes and eyes are corrosive, contact can cause severe burns. Operation should be properly protected.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of liquid anhydrous ammonia (liquid ammonia) residue by gravimetric method.
This standard applies to products with a residue content of not less than 0.02%, and an arbitration method for determining the content of residues.
Note. If the residue content is lower than the lower limit of the standard measurement method, the report is the mass fraction < 0.02%.

GB/T 8570.1-2008 Methods for the determination of liquid anhydrous ammonia - Part 1. Adoption of laboratory samples
HG/T 2843 chemical analysis of chemical fertilizers commonly used standard titration solution, standard solution, reagent solution and indicator solution
3 principle
After evaporation of the liquid ammonia sample at room temperature, the evaporation residue was weighed and the residue was titrated in a standard solution of sulfuric acid in the presence of an indicator
Of the ammonia, the amount of residue obtained by subtracting the measured ammonia content from the residue of the residue, and obtaining the residue content.
4 reagents and materials
The reagents, solutions and water used in this part shall comply with the requirements of HG/T 2843 when not specified and formulated.
4.1 sulfuric acid solution. about 10%;
4.2 sulfuric acid standard titration solution, c (12H2SO4
) = 0.1 mol/L;
4.3 methyl red indicator solution. 1g/L;
4.4 Refrigerants. solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) and industrial alcohol mixture, the cooling temperature -35 ℃ ~ -40 ℃;
4.5 grease, lubricating glass piston.
5 instruments
5.1 General laboratory equipment.
5.2 sample sampling device, see Figure 1.
5.2.1 glass tube. the total volume of about 150mL, 100mL engraved with marking, No. 29 internal standard grinding with the corresponding external standard grinding mouth
Glass plug, so that one of the pipe connected to the three-way piston 3, the other branch with two 1000mL conical bottles Ⅰ and Ⅱ in series.
Thus, in the assembled instrument, the test tube can be connected with two three-way pistons 3 and 4, respectively, and liquid ammonia sampling cylinders and two conical bottles
Ⅰ, Ⅱ connection.
The glass piston is lubricated with silicone grease or made of polytetrafluoroethylene.
