Preface
GB/T 8570 "Determination of liquid anhydrous ammonia method" is divided into seven parts.
- Part 1. Adoption of laboratory samples;
- Part 2. Ammonia content;
- Part 3. Residue content weight method;
- Part 4. Residual content volumetric method;

This part is part 2 of GB/T 8570.
This part of the replacement GB/T 8570.2-1988 "Determination of liquid ammonia ammonia content."

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 8570 specifies the method for calculating the ammonia content of liquid anhydrous ammonia (liquid ammonia).

3 principle
Liquid ammonia ammonia content is deducted by weight or volumetric method of liquid ammonia residue content, the mass fraction of ammonia.
4 Analysis of the results of the expression
Ammonia content w1 (by weight method) and w2 (by volume method), the mass fraction of ammonia, the value in%, respectively, according to (1) and (2)

w3 --- Residual content measured by GB/T 8570.3,%;
w4 --- according to GB/T 8570.4 measured the amount of residue,%.
Where 100 minus the weight of the residue measured by the weight method is the arbitration method.
The results are expressed as two digits after the decimal point, and the arithmetic mean of the two parallel calculations is taken as the result of the measurement.
