Foreword
The standard reference to American Standard ASTM B339-2005 "tin ingots," the EU standard EN610.1995 "tin ingots," Japan Standard
JISH2018-1996 "tin" be revised.
This standard replaces GB/T 728-1998 "tin ingots."
This standard and GB/T 728-1998 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- The standard adds low-lead products, according to the lead content of impurities is divided into A, AA grade two. Tin ingots grades. Sn99.90A, Sn99.90AA,
Sn99.95A, Sn99.95AA, Sn99.99A;
--- The standard chemical composition made some changes, adding sulfur, silver, nickel, cobalt and four impurity element content requirements;
--- This standard increased sampling and preparation of product requirements;
--- The standard definition of tin increased molecular weight and molecular formula;
--- The standard of the original standard "4 of ordering the contract" to "8 contracts (or orders) content."

4 Requirements
4.1 Categories
