Foreword
GB/T 5591 "Soft Composites for Electrical Insulation" includes the following three parts.
--- Part 1. Definitions and general requirements;
--- Part 2. Test methods;
--- Part 3. Individual material specifications.
This part is the third part of GB/T 5591.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 5591.3-2008 "Soft Composites for Electrical Insulation - Part 3. Specification for Individual Materials". This section
The main technical changes compared with GB/T 5591.3-2008 are as follows.
--- Revised the normative reference document (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2008 edition);
--- Revised the product classification and classified the product classification according to the provisions of JB/T 2197 (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);
--- Removed the product model that is not available in China (Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);
--- Added special heat-resistant paper (polyoxadiazole fiber paper) (see Chapter 3);
---Modified product performance requirements (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2008 edition);
--- Added "layering" and "heat affected" "stiffness" performance requirements (see Chapter 4);
--- In the test method, the "stratification" and "heat affected" "stiffness" test methods were added (see 5.6, 5.7, 5.8).
This section uses the redrafting method to modify the use of IEC 60626-3.2012 "Soft Composites for Electrical Insulation Part 3. Single-item
Material specification.
This section has more structural adjustments than IEC 60626-3.2012. This section and IEC 60626-3 are listed in Appendix A.

3.1 Classification

Soft composites are classified by compositional materials.
3.1.2 polyester film cellulose paper soft composite material
The products in this section are divided into three models according to JB/T 2197 and the nominal thickness of polyester film. See Table 1.
