This document establishes the classification principles of science and technology assessment, describes the classification methods, and stipulates the coding methods, classifications and codes.
This document applies to planning, design, commissioning, organization, implementation, management, research, training, informatization and other related activities of science and technology assessment.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 10113 and GB/T 40148 apply to this document.
