This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document has been modified to adopt ISO 27729.2012 "International Standard Name Identifier for Information and Documentation (ISNI)".
The technical differences between this document and ISO 27729.2012 and their reasons are as follows.
---Replaced ISO /IEC 7064 with normatively cited GB/T 17710-2008 to adapt to my country's technical conditions (see Section 4
Chapter and A.2);
---Added the terminology and definition of "participant name identifier" (see 3.1).
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
---This document incorporates the amendments to ISO 27729.2012/Cor1.2013;
---In order to coordinate with existing standards, the standard name is changed to "Information and Documentation Participant Name Identifier";

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

A code used to identify the public identities of participants in various media content in the digital environment.
3.2
Participant party
Natural persons, legal persons or other organizations involved in the creation, processing, management and content publishing.
3.3

Participants who apply for ISNI from the registration authority.
3.4
publicidentity
The public name of the participant (including legal name, previous name, etc.).

4 Structure and presentation of ISNI
4.1 Structure of ISNI
ISNI should consist of 16 characters divided into two parts.
