Acetone, isopropyl alcohol and n-butanol testing
1 Scope
This document describes the use of headspace gas chromatography (HS/GC) and headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS/GC-MS) for the detection of
Methods for ethanol, methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropanol and n-butanol.
This document is applicable to the qualitative analysis of ethanol, methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropanol and n-butanol in blood and urine by headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Analysis and headspace gas chromatography qualitative and quantitative analysis. Other body fluids and non-biological samples can be used as reference.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GA/T 122 apply to this document.
4 Principles
According to the volatile characteristics of ethanol and other six compounds, headspace gas chromatography (HS/
GC) detection, qualitative based on the retention time of two chromatographic columns with different properties, quantitative based on the peak area, internal standard method or external standard method. or
Headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS/GC-MS) was used for detection, and identification was carried out based on retention time and mass spectrum characteristic fragment ions.
5 Reagents, instruments and materials
5.1 Reagents
5.1.1 Water, conforms to level three specified in GB/T 6682.
5.1.2 Standard materials. ethanol, methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropanol, n-butanol, tert-butanol, the purity is not less than 99.5%.
5.1.3 10.0mg/mL ethanol (methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, n-butanol) standard material stock solution. accurately weigh the standards separately
Use an appropriate amount of substance ethanol (methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropanol, n-butanol) and water to prepare a 10.0mg/mL standard material stock solution.
Store at 0℃~4℃, valid for 6 months. The standard solutions of other concentrations used in the experiment were all prepared from the 10.0 mg/mL standard stock solution with water.
Obtained by progressive dilution. Or use commercially available standard material solutions.
5.1.4 5.0mg/mL internal standard tert-butanol standard material stock solution. Precisely weigh 500.0mg tert-butanol into a 100mL volumetric flask
, dilute to volume with water, store at 0℃~4℃, valid for 6 months.
