3 Terms and definitions, abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 4863-2008 apply to this document.
3.1.1
Manufacturing process simulation
Use modeling technology to establish a virtual manufacturing process and/or environment similar to the physical process or environment, and use virtual reality and other data
Wording means the activities of simulation analysis, evaluation and optimization of the process and (or) environment.
3.1.2
NC machining process simulation
In a virtual environment, the correctness of the NC program is verified by simulating the NC machining process by using digital means such as virtual reality
Analyzing and predicting the changes in the physical quantities (cutting force, cutting heat, vibration, etc.) in the machining process will affect the machining accuracy, surface machining quality and
Activities that affect processing efficiency.
Note. NC machining process simulation generally includes NC machining geometric simulation and NC machining physical simulation.
