3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Recycled water
Reclaimed water refers to domestic sewage or industrial wastewater after being treated by a proper regeneration process to meet a certain water quality standard and meet a certain use function

Biological toxicity test
Using biological reactions to determine the impact or harm caused by one or more pollutants or environmental factors alone or in combination.
Note. The biological reactions used include reactions at all levels of molecules, cells, tissues, organs, individuals, populations, communities and ecosystems.
3.3
Sample preparation
According to the requirements of the detection method, the samples are processed to all sample preparation processes that meet the requirements of subsequent testing.
Note. Including but not limited to sample thawing, mixing, separation of soluble and granular components, pH adjustment, pre-concentration and other steps.
