Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 9885.1991 "flat mouth glass container sealing surface flatness deviation test method".
The documents of our country that have a consistent correspondence with the international documents referenced in this standard are as follows.
---GB/T 9987-2011 Glass bottle manufacturing terminology (ISO 7348.1991, MOD).
This standard was proposed by the China Light Industry Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Daily Glass Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC377).
This standard was drafted. Donghua University, National Eyeglass Glass Enamel Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, National Daily Glass Enamel Standardization
center.

Wide mouth glass container
Sealing surface flatness deviation test method
1 Scope
This standard specifies two complementary test methods for determining the flatness deviation of the sealing surface of a wide-mouth glass container.
This standard applies to wide-mouth glass containers that require sterilization and sealing.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this article.
Pieces. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined by ISO 7348 apply to this document.
3.1
Fitting surface flatness deviation deviationfromflatnessoftopsealingsurface
The amount of saddle deformation of the mouth sealing ring of the container.
Note 1. The saddle-like deformation of the mouth sealing ring usually occurs after forming and before leaving the annealing furnace.
Note 2. The flatness deviation of the sealing surface here is different from ISO 9009.1991 "The height and the non-parallelism test of the glass container based on the bottom of the container.
The method refers to "the degree of non-parallelism of the mouth based on the bottom of the container".
4 Principle
4.1 Quick test to determine if the sealing surface meets the predetermined flatness requirements.
4.2 Measure the distance between the sealing surface and the plate pressed under the sealing surface.
5 instruments
5.1 Level the bottom plate.
5.2 Thickness gauge. The step is 0.05 mm, ie. 0.05 mm, 0.1 mm, and the like.
Note. For fast detection, especially automatic detection, other instruments can also be used, such as placing the container under test on the standard rubber base of the instrument, and the measurement has been pumped.
The vacuum of the empty container is converted to a flatness deviation expressed in millimeters (mm).
6 sampling
The test should be carried out in a predetermined number of samples. The sample shall meet the test requirements.
