1 Scope
This Standard specifies terms, definition, detection requirements, on-line detection
system composition and detection result output of on-line detection for spot faults of
flat glass.
This Standard is applicable to on-line and real-time automatic detection for spot faults
of flat glass manufactured through float process.

3.1 Spot Faults
A general term for flat glass faults, such as bubbles, impurities and spots, etc.
3.2 Defects Detection Rate
The percentage of the quantity of detected defects and the quantity of actual defects
in unit area.
3.3 Defect Type Recognition Accuracy Rate
The percentage of accurate recognition of the same type of defects through an on-line
detection device.
