3 source of variety
The German meat merino sheep is used as the male parent, and the local fine mixed sheep is used as the female parent.
It is mainly distributed in Bayannaoer City and adjacent areas in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
4 Variety characteristics
4.1 Appearance features
Bamei meat sheep is a breed of sheep with both meat and wool. Large body, strong body, well-proportioned structure; no angle, no wrinkles in the neck (or have 1 ~
2 inconspicuous wrinkles), wide and deep chest, straight back, firm limbs, strong hind limbs, full muscles, obvious body shape, round barrel type.

4.2 coat characteristics
The coat is white, well closed, moderate density, uniform in fineness, mainly from 21.6μm to 25.0μm, head to eye connection, forelimb to wrist
The joints, hind limbs and hocks are covered with fine hair.
