The technical differences between this part and ISO 26262-7.2011 are as
follows.
- MODIFY the scope of application of this part, from the original “it is
applicable to safety-related systems that include one or more electrical
and/or electronic (E/E) systems and that are installed in series production
passenger cars with a maximum gross vehicle mass up to 3.5 t” into “it is
applicable to safety-related systems that include one or more electrical
and/or electronic (E/E) systems and that are installed in series production
passenger cars”;
- With regard to normative references, this part has made adjustments with
technical differences to adapt to China's technical conditions. The
adjustments are centrally reflected in Clause 2 “Normative references”, the
specific adjustments are as follows.
• USE GB/T 34590.1-2017 which modifies and adopts the international
standard to replace ISO 26262-1.2011;

Part 7. Production and operation
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 34590 specifies the production, operation, service and
decommissioning requirements.
This standard applies to safety-related systems that include one or more
electrical and/or electronic (E/E) systems and that are installed in series
production passenger cars.
This standard does not apply to specific electrical and electronic systems on
special purpose vehicles, such as vehicles designed for disabled drivers.
Systems and their components released for production, or systems and their
components already under development prior to the publication date of this
standard. For the further development or alterations based on systems and their
components released for production prior to the publication of this standard,
only the modifications will be developed in accordance with this standard.
This standard address possible hazards caused by malfunctioning behavior of
electrical and electronic safety-related systems, including interaction of these
systems. It does not address hazards related to electric shock, fire, smoke, heat,
radiation, toxicity, flammability, reactivity, corrosion, release of energy and
similar hazards, unless directly caused by malfunctioning behavior of the
electrical/electronic safety related system.
This standard does not address the nominal performance of electrical and
electronic systems, even if dedicated functional performance standards exist
for these systems (e.g., active and passive safety systems, brake systems,
adaptive cruise control).
