This standard specifies the determination of hexavalent chromium content in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries.

3 principle

4 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise stated, only analytical reagents and tertiary water in accordance with GB/T 6682 are applicable.
4.1 Phosphoric acid solution. 700 mL of phosphoric acid (H3PO4, ρ = 1.71 g/mL) was diluted with water to 1000 mL.
4.2 Diphenylcarbazide solution. Weigh 1.0g1,5-diphenylcarbazide (C13H14N4O) dissolved in 100mL acetone, dropping 1 drop of glacial acetic acid.
Note. The solution is placed in a brown bottle and stored at 4 ° C for 2 weeks.
4.3 Buffer. 22.8 g (accurate to 0.01 g) dipotassium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate (K2HPO4 · 3H2O) was dissolved in 1000 mL of water and treated with phosphoric acid
(4.1) to adjust the pH to 8.0 ± 0.1 and deoxygenate with argon or nitrogen.

4.6 hexavalent chromium standard working solution, 10mg/L. with a pipette to remove 1mL hexavalent chromium standard stock solution (4.5) to 100mL volumetric flask
