1 Scope
This standard specifies the capillaries and related terpene products α-pinene, β-pinene, dipentene, terpene alcohol and other major components of the capillary

This standard applies to turpentine, dipentene, pine oil, rosin neutral terpene and other related terpene products analysis and testing.
2 principle

3 analysis method
3.1 Reagents and materials
3.1.1 α-pinene (standard sample). purity should be greater than 99%.

3.1.7 100g/L potassium hydroxide ethanol solution. 100g of potassium hydroxide dissolved in 150mL distilled water, add 95% ethanol to 1000mL.
3.1.8 Carrier gas. nitrogen, helium according to the type of detector used, the general purity should be greater than 99.99%.
3.1.9 Air. need to be filtered, purified and dried.
3.2 Instruments and equipment
3.2.1 Gas Chromatograph. Gas Chromatograph with Hydrogen Flame Ionization Detector (FID) and Programmed Temperature Control System.
3.2.2 Gas Chromatographic Columns. A quartz capillary column with a non-polar or weakly polarized solution is available. It is recommended to use a column length of 30m
