1 Scope
This Standard specifies the basic principles and general requirements of the
identification and labelling for eco-design product.
This Standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, trade, utilization and recycling
activities of the eco-design product.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions, and those defined in GB/T 24040, GB/T 24044,
GB/T 24062 and GB/T 24256 are applicable to this document.
3.1 Eco-design
The activity - in accordance with the concept of full-life cycle, it has systematically
considered, in product design and development phases, the various links such as raw
material’s selecting, manufacturing, selling, utilizing, recycling, and disposing that can
cause the influence to the resource environment; strive to minimize the resource
consumption in the entire product life cycle; use as less as possible or do not use the
