1 Scope
This Standard specifies the relevant standards and testing requirements of power quality
for charging facilities of electric vehicles.
This Standard applies to the charging facilities of electric vehicles, including AC charging
piles and charging stations.
2 Normative References
The articles contained in the following documents have become part of this Standard
when they are quoted herein. For the dated documents so quoted, all the modifications
(including all corrections) or revisions made thereafter shall be applicable to this Standard.

GB/T 14549 Quality of electric energy supply - Harmonics in public supply network
GB/T 15543 Power quality - Three-phase voltage unbalance
3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 12325, GB/T 14549, GB/T 15543, GB/T 19862,
GB/T 29317 and GB/T 29772 apply to this document.
4 Supply Voltage Deviations
4.1 The supply voltage deviations for charging facilities of electric vehicles shall meet the
requirements in Table 1.
5 Voltage Unbalance
5.1 When charging facilities of electric vehicles access to public grid and the power grid is
under normal operation, the unbalance of negative sequence voltage at the point of
common coupling shall not exceed 2%, and shall not exceed 4% in short time.
6 Harmonic Limits
6.1 The harmonic voltage limits (phase voltage) when charging facilities of electric
vehicles access to common coupling point in public grid are required to meet the
provisions of GB/T 14549.
6.2 The allowable value for harmonic current when charging facilities of electric vehicles
access to common coupling point in public grid shall meet the provisions of GB/T 14549.
6.4 In rated power output of on-board battery charger accessed with AC charging pile,
total harmonic distortion of current on AC input side shall be equal or less than 8% with
power factor equal or greater than 0.95.
7 Power Quality Detection
7.1 The power quality detection point of charging facilities should be selected from inlet
wire of power supply; monitoring equipment should select Class A equipment that accords
with the provisions of GB/T 14549.
