Preface
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"
Drafting:
This document replaces GB/T 2493-2013 "Grinding wheel rotation test method": Compared with GB/T 2493-2013, except for structural adjustments and
In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:2013 edition);
b) Added the requirement that the rotation testing machine should increase evenly (see 4:1:2);
c) The relative error range of the spindle speed of the rotary testing machine has been changed (see 4:1:3, 3:2 of the:2013 version);
d) The requirements for radial circular runout of the spindle of the rotary testing machine have been changed (see 4:1:4, 3:3 of the:2013 edition);
e) Added requirements for recording or displaying the spindle speed of the rotary testing machine (see 4:1:6);
f) The tensile strength requirements for chuck and spacer materials and bushing materials have been changed (see 4:2:1, 5:2, 4:4 and 5:3 of the:2013 edition);
g) The regulations for installation and clamping of grinding tool rotation test have been changed (see 5:1, 5:2 of the:2013 edition);
h) Added installation and clamping regulations for special installation methods of grinding tool rotation test (see 5:4);
i) Changed the setting method of rotation test parameters (see 6:1, 5:1 and 6:1 of the:2013 edition);
j) Added the step of idling in the rotation test (see 6:2);
k) Added the method to deal with the breakage of the grinding tool during the rotation test (see 6:6);
l) Added requirements for test reports (see Chapter 7):

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 16458 apply to this document:
4 Test equipment
4:1 Rotary testing machine
4:1:1 The rotary testing machine should be selected according to the specifications, models and mounting methods of the abrasive tools:
4:1:2 The rotation testing machine should increase in speed evenly:
4:1:3 The relative error range of the spindle speed of the rotary testing machine is ±1:0%:
4:1:4 The radial circular runout of the spindle of the rotary testing machine for bonded abrasives and coated abrasives should not be greater than 0:03mm:
The radial circular runout of the main shaft of the testing machine should not be greater than 0:02mm: The measurement position is: one-half of the exposed effective part of the spindle (with chuck
The spindle is located 5mm~10mm away from the end face of the spindle after removing the chuck):
4:1:5 The rotary testing machine should be equipped with a timing control device to automatically start timing after the spindle speed reaches the set speed:
Keep the speed stable within a certain period of time, and automatically start to slow down at the end of the set time:
4:1:6 The rotary testing machine should be able to record or display the maximum rotational speed reached by the spindle during the rotation test or the rotational speed when the grinding tool breaks:
4:1:7 The noise sound pressure level of the rotary testing machine when no-load should not exceed 85dB(A):
4:1:8 The protective cover of the rotary testing machine should be strong to ensure that the rotary test can be carried out safely:
4:1:9 The rotary testing machine should be calibrated regularly, and the recalibration interval should not exceed one year: The rotary testing machine after repair should be recalibrated:
4:2 Chuck and partition for rotation test
4:2:1 The tensile strength of the chuck and partition materials should not be less than 415N/mm2 (45 steel is recommended):
