introduction
Impact testing of electrical equipment using different hammers may produce mechanical stress. For the purpose of standardization, the results of the test are not
Depending on the type of test apparatus that should be used, this document describes the characteristics of various test hammers designed to approximate as closely as possible the same severity level.
The severity level is usually selected from GB/T 4796.1.
For harmonization, it is necessary to change some basic parameters of the tests Ef. impact pendulum and Eg. impact spring hammer. in all cases
Below, both sets of parameters are given at appropriate locations in the text. Although some quantities are no longer recommended, they remain as alternatives for continuity reasons.
value due to their use as historical references in certain industries.
GB/T 2423 includes basic information on environmental tests and their severity levels, and specifies the atmospheric conditions for various measurements and tests.
It is used to evaluate the working ability of test samples under expected transportation, storage and various usage environments. Each document of GB/T 2423 is introduced separately.
A set of experiments and applications. GB/T 2423 aims to provide product specifiers and product testers with a series of unified and repeatable environments.
Environmental climatic, mechanical and combined tests, and includes standard atmospheric conditions for measurements and tests.
Since 1981, GB/T 2423 has issued more than 50 documents (49 current national standards, 41 of which adopt
IEC 60068-2 "Environmental Testing Part 2.Testing"). See Appendix NA for details of the constituent documents of GB/T 2423.

Foreword
GB/T 2423 “Environmental testing for electric and electronic products - Part 2: Test
methods” is divided into several parts according to the test methods.
This part is Part 55 of GB/T 2423.
This part is identical to IEC 60068-2-75:1997 “Environmental testing – Part 2: Tests –
Test Eh: Hammer tests” (English version).
This part is the first edition (IEC 60068-2-75 is the first edition).
This part is equivalent to IEC 60068-2-75, which is determined by IEC Guide 104 as
the basic safety standard.
This part is equivalent to IEC 60068-2-75, which is determined by IEC Guide 108 as
the basic environmental testing standard to be published.
For convenience of use, this Part makes the following editorial changes:
a) Change the word “this part of IEC 60068” to “this part of GB/T 2423” or “this
part”;
b) Use the decimal point “.” to replace the comma “,” as a decimal point;
c) Delete the foreword of the international standard;
d) Change this part to the current name, in order to be consistent with the names of
other parts of the existing GB/T 2423;
e) There is a 5-year lag between this part and the publication of the first edition of
IEC 60068-2-75 in the process of national standard conversion. The 5-year
transitional period was lost. For ease of use, add the version number and
publication date to the statement “Remove the values in brackets 5 years after the
publication of the first edition of IEC 60068-2-75: 1997 in August 1997”, and
keep it consistent with the original text.
Some of the normative documents cited in this part have not yet been converted into
equivalent national standards, and are still listed with IEC/ISO numbers when these
normative documents are cited.
Annex A and Annex B of this part are normative annexes; Annex C, Annex D and Annex
E are informative annexes.
This part is proposed by the Fifth Institute of Electronics, Ministry of Information
Industry.
Environmental testing for electric and electronic products -
Part 2: Test methods - Test Eh: Hammer tests
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 2423 provides three equivalent test methods for impacting the sample
under the specified severity conditions including the number of impacts, energy and
direction of impact. It applies to the assessment of the robustness of the product
according to the electrical safety clause.
This part covers energy levels ranging from 0.14 joules (J) to 50 joules (J).
Three types of test apparatus are applicable to perform these tests. Annex C provides
some guidance as to this aspect.
2 Normative references
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this
text, constitute provisions of this part. For dated references, all subsequent amendments
(not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this part. Parties to agreements
based on this part should investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions
of the standards listed below. For undated references, the latest edition applies to this
part.
