1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, specifications
and model naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of
household and similar electrical toilets.
This standard applies to single-phase electrical toilets that are used in
households and similar places and which have a rated voltage not exceeding
250 V.
This standard does not apply to ceramic toilets and electrical toilets for medical
use.
2 Normative references

the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Electrical toilets
The appliances which are driven by electric power and clean the residual
excrement of the human body by water, has the single-function or multi-
function such as blowing or seat heating, etc. (hereinafter referred to as
"electrical toilets").
3.2
Standard operation mode
The standard operation process which is used to measure such items as
cleaning rate, energy consumption, water consumption, etc.
3.3
Cleaning rate
The percentage of simulated human excretion as removed in standard
operation mode.
3.4
Spray water flow consumption
The amount of water as consumed by the electrical toilet per unit time in the
specified cleaning mode.
3.5
Energy consumption
The amount of electricity as consumed by the electrical toilet in the standard
operation mode.
3.6
Water consumption
The amount of water as consumed by the electrical toilet in the standard
operation mode.
4 Classification, specifications and model naming
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 According to the control method, it is divided into.
4.1.2 According to the cleaning and heating method, it is divided into.
4.1.3 According to the functional forms, it is divided into.
4.2 Specifications
The specifications of the electrical toilet are expressed in the model number as
the maximum spray water flow consumption of the electrical toilet, in the unit of
milliliters per minute (mL/min).
4.3 Model naming
Example. ZPJ680-FRQC-A represents an instant-heating electrical toilet with
air blowing, seat heating, nozzle self-cleaning and environmental deodorization,
a maximum spray water flow consumption of 680 mL/min, the manufacturer
design code of A.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Conditions of use
5.1.1 The use of electrical toilet shall meet the following requirements.
5.1.2 Test run
The electrical toilet shall run well for one cycle.
5.2 Cleaning performance
5.2.1 Cleaning rate
5.2.1.1 The cleaning rate shall be not less than 90.0%.
5.2.2 Spray water flow consumption
The actual measured value of the maximum spray water flow consumption of
the electrical toilet shall not be less than 95% of the stated value.
5.3 Blowing performance
5.3.1 Blowing temperature
The maximum temperature of the air blowing outlet shall be not more than 65 °C.
5.3.2 Air blowing volume
5.4 Seat's heating performance
5.4.1 Seat's surface temperature
In the highest temperature mode of the electrical toilet, the temperature of all
test points shall not exceed 45 °C.
5.4.2 Seat's surface temperature uniformity
The difference between the measured value of each point of the electrical toilet
and the average temperature shall not exceed 5 K.
5.5 Energy consumption

5.7 Durability
5.7.1 The durability of the electrical toilet shall not be less than 25000 times.
5.7.2 The durability of the electrical toilet is divided into four grades. A, B, C, D
from high to low, as shown in Table 6.

5.9 Structure and materials
5.9.1 The surface of the electrical toilet in contact with the human body shall be
smooth. When used normally, it shall not scratch the human skin.
5.9.2 Under normal working conditions, the cleaning system of the electrical
toilet operates normally without jamming.
5.9.3 Water supply components and heating water tanks shall not leak.
6 Test methods
6.1 Test requirements
6.1.1 Unless otherwise specified, the test environmental conditions shall meet.
6.1.2 Power supply. Single-phase AC sine wave, the fluctuation range of
voltage and frequency shall not exceed ±2% of the rated value.
6.1.3 Water source temperature. (15 ± 2) °C.
6.1.8 Instrumentation and accuracy shall meet the following requirements.
6.2 Cleaning performance
6.2.1 Cleaning rate
The electrical toilet is tested in accordance with the provisions of Appendix A in
the standard operation mode.
6.2.4 Response time of outlet water temperature
In the standard operation mode of the electrical toilet, place the temperature
sensor in the water outlet direction of the nozzle, at a position 10 mm away from
the nozzle's outlet, to record the time from the abrupt temperature change of
the temperature sensor in contact with cleaning water flow to a temperature of
35 °C.
6.3 Air blowing performance
6.3.1 Blowing temperature
Requirements for test environment temperature. (23 ± 2) °C.
Follow the steps below to measure the air blowing temperature.
6.3.2 Air blowing volume
Follow the steps below to measure the air blowing speed and air blowing
volume.
6.5.2 Calculation of energy consumption
Record the energy consumption for the entire period. calculate the energy
consumption according to formula (4).
6.7 Durability
According to the instructions for use, the flushing water temperature and
intensity are set to the highest gear, the air blowing function is set to the highest
gear. Rinse the buttocks for 30 s, bidet for 30 s (if there is no such function, use
the buttocks rinsing function to rinse it for another 30 s). If there is air blowing
function, run it for 30 s. The above operation modes form a test cycle. The time
interval between different cycles is 30 s.
After the test is completed, the electrical toilet can still complete the functions
as specified in the instructions for use.
6.8 Antibacterial, mildew-proof, sterilization, deodorization ability
6.8.1 The antibacterial rate and mildew-proof grade of the material shall be in
accordance with the provisions of GB 21551.2.
6.9 Structure and materials
Use visual inspection of each item in 5.9.1 ~ 5.9.3 to confirm whether they
comply with requirements. The item in 5.9.4 is tested according to the method
of Appendix A of GB 21551.1-2008.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection requirements
Products shall pass the test in accordance with this standard before they can
be put into production in batches.
7.4 Exit-factory inspection
7.4.1 Each product is subject to exit-factory inspection and can be exit-factory
after passing the inspection.
7.5 Type test
7.5.1 In addition to the requirements specified in GB 4706.1, GB 4706.53-2008
and GB/T 4343.2, the type test of the product shall also comply with the relevant
requirements of chapter 5.
7.5.2 Type test shall be carried out in one of the following cases.
7.5.3 The period of the type test shall be determined by the manufacturer itself.
The sample shall be randomly selected from the products that have passed the
exit-factory inspection.
8 Marking, instructions for use, packaging, transportation, storage
8.1 Marking
The marking of the product shall comply with the corresponding provisions of
GB 4706.1 and GB 4706.53-2008 as related to the "marking".
8.2 Instructions for use
In addition to the corresponding provisions of GB 4706.1, GB 4706.53-2008
and GB/T 5296.2, the instructions for use of the product shall also include.
8.3 Packaging
The packaging shall be in accordance with the conditions as specified in GB/T
191 and GB/T 1019.In addition to the product's implemented standards GB
4706.1, GB 4706.53-2008 and this standard, it shall also include.
8.4 Transportation
During the transportation of the product, it is strictly forbidden to expose to rain,
damp, violent collision.
8.5 Storage
Packaged products shall be stored in a warehouse at room temperature,
ventilated and dry, free of corrosive gases.
