This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 20292-2006 "Test Method for Performance of Household Tumble Dryers". This standard and GB/T 20292-2006
Compared to the main technical changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard applies to automatic or non-automatic household electric rolling with or without cold water source and with or without heating elements.
Tub dryer. This standard does not apply to tumble dryers that use flammable gases or other fuels as a heat source.
This standard specifies and defines the main performance characteristics and test methods for household and similar drum dryers.
Note. This standard also applies to tumble dryers for commercial use in apartments or self-service laundry rooms. This standard does not apply to drums for commercial laundry

Tumble dryer
An apparatus for drying a fabric that is turned over in a rotating drum by flowing heated air.
3.1.2
Exhaust tumble dryer airventedtumbledryer
The fabric is dried by introducing fresh air, and the humid air is discharged or discharged through an exhaust duct to an outdoor tumble dryer.
