This Standard replaces GB/T 200-2003 “Moderate Heat Portland Cement Low Heat Portland Cement Low Heat Port”. As compared with GB/T 200-2003, the main changes of this Standard are as follows. - The standard’s name is changed to “Moderate-heat portland cement, low- heat portland cement”; - Changed from the mandatory standard to the recommended standard; - DELETE the variety of “low heat port”; - DELETE the industrial by-product gypsum and Class A natural gypsum in “gypsum”, and the “grinding aid” under “Composition of low heat port” (SEE Chapter 4; 4.1, 4.4, and 4.5 of the 2003 version); - ADD Class M natural gypsum (SEE 4.3; 4.4 of the 2003 version); - ADD the strength grade 32.5 low-heat portland cement (SEE Chapter 5); - ADD technical requirements for insoluble matters in cement (SEE 6.1.4); - ADD technical requirements for tricalcium aluminate, tricalcium silicate, and dicalcium silicate in cement, as selection indexes (SEE 6.3); - ADD the technical requirement of 90 d compressive strength for low-heat portland cement, as a type inspection item (SEE 6.4.5); - MODIFY the calculation formula for mineral composition (SEE Appendix A; 4.2.3 of the 2003 version). This Standard was proposed by China Building Materials Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 184 on Cement of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 184). Responsible drafting organizations of this Standard. China Building Materials Academy, China Three Gorges Corporation. Participating drafting organizations of this Standard. This Standard applies to the production and application of moderate-heat cement and low-heat cement. 2 Normative references The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For the dated references, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document. For the undated references, the latest version (including all the amendments) are applicable to this document. GB/T 176 Methods for chemical analysis of cement GB/T 750 Method for soundness of portland cement GB/T 1346 Test methods for water requirement of normal consistency, setting time and soundness of the portland cement GB/T 5483 Natural gypsum GB/T 8074 Testing method for specific surface of cement - Blaine method GB/T 9774 Sacks for packing cement GB/T 12573 Sampling method for cement GB/T 12959 Test methods for heat of hydration of cement GB/T 17671 Method of testing cements - Determination of strength (ISO method) 3 Terms and definitions 6.4.7 28 d heat of hydration of low-heat cement The 28 d heat of hydration of low-heat cement of grade 32.5 shall not be more than 290 kJ/kg. The 28 d heat of hydration of low-heat cement of grade 42.5 shall not be more than 310 kJ/kg. 7 Test methods 7.1 Calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, ferric oxide, magnesium oxide, sulfur trioxide, loss on ignition, insoluble matter, free calcium oxide, sodium oxide, and potassium oxide Calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, ferric oxide, magnesium oxide, sulfur trioxide, loss on ignition, insoluble matter, free calcium oxide, sodium oxide, and potassium oxide are tested according to GB/T 176. 7.2 Tricalcium aluminate, tricalcium silicate, and dicalcium silicate in clinker or cement The tricalcium aluminate, tricalcium silicate, and dicalcium silicate in clinker or cement shall be calculated according to Appendix A. 7.3 Specific surface The specific surface shall be tested according to GB/T 8074. 7.4 Setting time and boiling soundness Setting time and boiling soundness shall be tested according to GB/T 1346. 7.5 Autoclave soundness Autoclave soundness shall be tested according to GB/T 750. 7.6 Strength The strength shall be tested according to GB/T 17671. 7.7 Heat of hydration Heat of hydration shall be tested according to GB/T 12959. 8 Inspection rules 8.1 Lot grouping and sampling 8.3.2 Type inspection The product, of which the inspection results conform to the technical requirements specified in 6.1 and 6.4, is qualified. The product, of which the inspection results do not conform to any of the technical requirements of 6.1 and 6.4, is unqualified. 8.4 Inspection report The content of inspection report shall include at least the cement variety, strength grade, various technical requirements specified in this Standard, and test results. The manufacturer shall, within 11 d from the date of delivery of cement, send the test results specified except for the 28 d strength. The 28 d strength value, within 32 d from the date of delivery of cement, shall be reported. 9 Exit-factory, delivery, and acceptance 9.1 Exit-factory Only when it is confirmed that all technical indexes and packing quality of cement meet the requirements, can the cement leave the factory. 9.2 Delivery and acceptance 9.2.1 At the time of delivery, the quality acceptance of cement can be based on the inspection result of the physical sample drawn; or can be based on the inspection report of the same lot number of cement of the manufacturer. The acceptance method adopted shall be agreed between the buyer and the seller and be specified in the contract or agreement. The seller has the responsibility of informing the buyer of the acceptance method. When there is no written contract or agreement, or no acceptance method is specified in the contract or agreement, the seller shall indicate on the invoice that “the inspection report of the same lot number of cement of the factory is the acceptance basis”. 9.2.2 When the inspection result of the physical sample drawn is taken as the acceptance basis, the buyer and the seller shall, before delivery or at the place of delivery, jointly sample and seal. The sampling method shall be in accordance with GB/T 12573. The sampling quantity is 28 kg, divided into two equal parts. One part shall be kept by the seller for 40 d; and the other part shall be inspected by the buyer in accordance with the items and methods specified in this Standard. Within 40 d, when the buyer, by inspection, believes that the product quality does not meet the requirements of this Standard, and the seller has objections, the two parties shall send another sample kept by the seller to a qualified testing ......
