This standard replaces GB/T 17457-2009 "Cement Mortar Lining for Ductile Iron Pipes and Fittings", which is equivalent to

1 Scope
This standard specifies the cement mortar lining of ductile iron pipes and fittings in GB/T 13295-2019 and GB/T 26081-2010.
Materials, coating methods, lining thickness and surface condition, and corresponding test methods.
This standard is applicable to improve the hydraulic properties of ductile iron pipes and fittings (compared with non-lined ductile iron pipes and fittings) and anticorrosive performance.
The inner lining also gives the special requirements for the non-full-flow artesian sewage pipeline lining.
This standard is also applicable to the lining for transporting special corrosive liquids.At this time, the following methods can be used alone or in combination.

3 Materials
3.1 Cement
3.1.1 The cement used for lining of ductile iron pipes and fittings shall comply with the corresponding national standards according to its type. General Portland cement (including ordinary

3.3 Preparation of water
3.3.1 The water used for preparing the mortar can be drinking water, or it can be both harmless to the mortar and harmless to the water transported in the pipeline.

3.4 Mortar
3.4.1 The mortar used for the lining should be made of cement, sand and water, where the cement meets the requirements of 3.1 and the sand meets the requirements of 3.2.

3.4.3 By mass, the mortar should be composed of at least 1 part of cement and 3.5 parts of sand (ie, the mass ratio S/C≤3.5).
3.4.4 In order to meet the requirements of this standard, the ratio of sand to cement (S/C) and water to cement (W/C) should be selected and controlled by the manufacturer.

4 Liner coating
4.1 Requirements for substrate surface before coating
4.1.1 All foreign objects, loose iron scales or any other material that may damage the good bonding between the metal and the liner should be removed from the surface of the substrate to be coated

4.2 Coating method

5 Lining thickness
5.1 Thickness requirements

5.2 Thickness measurement
5.2.1 The thickness of the lining can be measured by inserting steel needles into the newly-coated mortar, and non-destructive testing can also be used to measure the hardening

6 Surface condition of hardened lining

7 other
7.1 General
In any of the following cases, the type test should be carried out in accordance with 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4.

7.2 Compressive strength type test

8 Test conditions
8.1 General
Each inspection specified in this standard shall be carried out in accordance with the following conditions and in accordance with the provisions of the manufacturer.
8.2 Sand
