Summary This Standard specifies requirements for the use of GB 14055-93 reference neutron radiation measuring instruments for neutron radiation protection and calibration method for determining their response as a function of incident neutron energy, angle and dose equivalent rate. According to ICRU 39 report and definitions ICRU 43 report, all energy neutrons are strongly penetrating radiation monitoring instruments should therefore place by ambient dose equivalent H (P) calibration, and personal dosimeters places through personal dose equivalent H (p) (10) to calibrate. But the method specified in this standard are generic in nature, it can be used for various dose equivalent value system. Appendix A gives a schematic diagram of the physical characteristics to be tested.
