This revised standard adopts ISO 10081-1.2003 "Classification of dense shaped refractory products - Part 1. LAS" (in English).
This standard and ISO 10081-2.2003 compared to the main differences are as follows.
--- Increasing the normative references;
--- 3.6 in ceramic bond definitions and terminology standards ISO 836.2001 (ie, GB/T 18930-2002) unity.
This standard replaces GB/T 17105-1997 "Classification of dense shaped refractory products", compare with the following changes.
--- Standard name changed to "LAS dense shaped refractory products - Classification";
--- Range, the classification of all dense shaped article submissions for the Al-Si refractory products - Classification;

1 Scope
This standard specifies the LAS dense shaped refractory products - Classification and nomenclature.
This standard does not apply to the following products for classification.
a) addition of alumina, silica, iron oxide, other metal oxides in a concentration above 5% of the product;
b) the carbon, carbides, nitrides, nitrogen oxides and synthetic material mass fraction greater than 1 percent of the product.

LAS dense shaped refractory products classified according to the following five conditions.
a) type of product;
b) according to the content of aluminum oxide or silicon oxide grouping;
c) the main raw material;
d) raw state;
e) combining form (including all post-processing).
3.2 Products Category
Classification of dense shaped refractory products Al-Si and symbols.
a) high alumina (HA);
b) clayey (FC);
c) low aluminum clay, semi-siliceous (LF);
d) silica (the SS);
e) silica (SL).
Note. The above symbols from the abbreviation of the English name of refractory products.
Types of products the chemical composition of Table 1 classification. High alumina, the chemical composition of clay, low aluminum clay (half siliceous) analysis of refractory products
