1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of electric wheelchairs, gives the classification and model naming of electric wheelchairs, and stipulates the
The requirements, test reports, test rules, instructions, documents, labels and packaging are described.
This document is applicable to vehicles used by disabled persons or elderly persons who carry only one person and whose user mass is greater than 25kg and not more than 100kg.
Electric wheelchairs (including electric scooters) driven by electrical energy, i.e. the following electric wheelchairs classified according to GB/T 16432.
a) Manually steered electric wheelchairs (such as electric scooters);
b) Electric wheelchair with power steering.
This document does not apply to manual wheelchairs that are electrically assisted.
