It is used to manufacture tools that are not subjected to high shock loads and require excellent hardness, good wear-resistance, toughness. 1-2 T00080 T8 Hardenability and toughness are better than T10 steel, wear-resistance is also high, but quenching heating is easy to overheat, deformation is also large, plasticity and strength are relatively low, mould of large-and-medium cross- section tend to remain network carbide, which is suitable for small size drawn, tensioned, extruded mould 1-3 T01080 T8Mn Eutectoid steel, which has high hardenability and hardness, but low plasticity and strength. It is used for manufacturing woodworking tools, hand-saw blades, stamp-marking tools, rivet mould, coal-mine chisel, etc., which has relatively large cross-section 1-4 T00090 T9 Hypereutectoid steel, which has a higher strength but lower plasticity and strength. Used in the manufacture of tools that require high hardness and toughness, such as stamp-marking tools, rivet mould, punches, woodworking tools, rock-drilling tools, etc. 1-5 T00100 T10 Non-alloy tool steel, which has better performance, high wear-resistance, low heat sensitivity during quenching, high strength and certain toughness after proper heat-treatment, suitable for manufacture of mould of high wear-resistance and low impact load 1-6 T00110 T11 Hypereutectoid steel, which has good comprehensive mechanical properties (such as hardness, wear-resistance and toughness), has little sensitivity to grain growth and formation of carbide network during heating. Used to manufacture tools whose cutting blades do not heat during cutting, such as saws, taps, trowels, scrapers, reamers, screw mould, cold-punching mould and woodworking tools which have a small size and no sharp change in cross-section 1-7 T00120 T12 Hypereutectoid steel which, because of its high carbon content, has more excess carbides after quenching, so it has high hardness and wear-resistance, but low ......
