--- Part 2. Cable with rated voltage of 6kV (Um = 7.2kV) to 30kV (Um = 36kV);
--- Part 3. Cable with rated voltage 35kV (Um = 40.5kV);
--- Part 4. Test requirements for cable accessories with a rated voltage of 6 kV (Um = 7.2 kV) to 35 kV (Um = 40.5 kV).
This part is part 1 of GB/T 12706.
This part replaces GB/T 12706.1-2008 "Extruded insulation of rated voltage 1kV (Um = 1.2kV) to 35kV (Um = 40.5kV)
Power cables and accessories Part 1. Rated voltage 1kV (Um = 1.2kV) and 3kV (Um = 3.6kV) cables.
Compared with GB/T 12706.1-2008, the main technical changes except for editorial changes are as follows.
--- Modify the requirements of the inner lining material (see 7.2.2,.2008 version 7.1.2);
--- Modify the requirements of the inner lining of the extrusion package (see 7.2.3 and Table 9, 7.1.3 and Table 8 of the.2008 edition);
--- Amended the provisions around the inner lining of the package (see 7.2.4, 7.1.4 in the.2008 edition);
--- Modified the regulations on the coverage rate of copper tape shielding (see 9.2.3, 9.2.3 of the.2008 edition);
--- Modified the calculation formula for the nominal thickness of the lead sleeve (see Chapter 11, Chapter 11 of the.2008 edition);
--- Revised the regulations for armor materials (see 12.2, 12.2 of the.2008 edition);
--- Increased the nominal diameter of the thick round wire and the nominal thickness of the insulating sleeve or inner liner under the armor (see 12.4, Table 10

--- The thickness of the outer sheath has been revised (see 13.3, 13.3 of the.2008 edition);
--- Increased the DC resistance requirements of aluminum alloy conductors (see 15.2);

--- Modified the requirements of bunched flame retardant test (see 18.16.2,.2008 version 18.14.2);

--- Modify the applicable object of carbon black content test of black polyethylene sheath (see 18.17.1,.2008 version 18.15.1);
--- Removed the heat extension test load time (see Table 14 and Table 15,.2008 version of Table 17 and Table 22);
--- Added the calculation formula of the assumed core diameter of a three-core cable with a small cross-section (see A.2.3);
--- Increased the rule for rounding off the prescribed value (see B.3);
--- Increased the measurement and calculation of the wrap rate and gap rate of the package (see Appendix C);
--- Increased delivery length and marking requirements for finished cables (see E.3.2 and E.3.3);
--- Added the ambient temperature recommendation when installing the halogen-free flame-retardant sheathed cable (see E.4.1).

This part of GB/T 12706 specifies the rated voltage of 1kV (Um = 1.2kV) and 3kV (Um = 3.6kV) extruded insulated power
Cable structure, size and test requirements.
This section applies to fixed installations with rated voltages of 1kV (Um = 1.2kV) and 3kV (Um = 3.6kV) in distribution networks or industrial installations
Extruded insulated power cable.
This section does not apply to cables with special installation and operating conditions, such as overhead lines, mining industry, nuclear power plants
