Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 1171-2006 "General V-belt for general transmission", compared with GB/T 1171-2006, except editorial modification
The main technical changes are as follows.
--- Removed the requirements for adapting the rope structure in the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition);
--- Modified the representation of the mark (see 4.2, 3.3 of the.2006 version);
--- Removed the requirements for the bonding strength of the rope in physical properties and its test methods (see 5.3, 5.3 and 7.3 of the.2006 edition);
--- Revised the inspection of the dimensions in the sample (6.1, 6.1 of the.2006 edition);
--- Added a single basic rated power P1 and power increment ΔP1 table (see Appendix A).

General V-belt for general transmission
1 Scope
This standard specifies the structure, type and marking, requirements, sampling, test methods and general markings of ordinary V-belts (hereinafter referred to as V-belts) for general transmission.
Marking, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to ordinary V-belts used in general mechanical transmissions.
This standard does not apply to mechanical transmission devices such as automobiles and motorcycles.

3 structure
3.1 V belt is divided into edging V-belt and trimming V-belt according to its structure (normal trimming V-belt, toothed trimming V-belt and bottom rubber-cutting V-belt)

3.2 V belt consists of rubber canvas (top cloth), top rubber, cushion rubber, tensile body, primer, base cloth (base rubber cloth) and so on (see Figure 1).

4 models and markings
4.1 Model
The V-belt should have a symmetrical trapezoidal cross-section with a ratio of height to pitch width of about 0.7, and its model is divided into seven types. Y, Z, A, B, C, D, and E.
Note 1. The trimming tape is indicated by the symbol "X" after the model number.

4.2 Marking
An example of a tag for the V band. Take the V-belt according to GB/T 1171, A model with a reference length of 1430mm as an example, which is marked as.

The meaning of each element in the mark is as follows;
A --- model is type A;
1430---with a reference length of 1430mm.
Note. According to the negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, the length of the inner circumference can be increased in the mark.
5 requirements
5.1 Appearance quality
The appearance quality of the V belt shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.

5.2 size
The reference length limit deviation, exposed height, center distance variation, and matching difference of the V-belt shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 11544.
5.3 Physical properties
The physical properties of the V-belt shall comply with the requirements of Table 2.

5.4 Fatigue performance
The A-type and B-type V-belts have a torque-free fatigue life of not less than 1.0×107 times, and the 24h center-to-center distance change rate is not more than 2.0%.
6 sampling
6.1 The V-belt shall be inspected for appearance quality one by one, and the size may be sampled.
6.2 The V-belts of the same model and the same material shall be in batches of not more than.200,000. The items examined by the factory shall include the appearance quality in each batch of products.
Dimensions, physical properties, but not less than once a week.
6.3 If there are any unqualified items in the V-belt size, appearance quality and physical properties, double the number of samples in the batch.
The qualified project is re-inspected. If one of the test results is still unqualified, the batch of products is a non-conforming product.
6.4 For the A-type and B-type V-belts of the same type and the same material, two samples shall be taken each time for the V-belt fatigue test.
When the item is used, two samples shall be taken in the batch for re-inspection. If one of the test results is still unqualified, the batch is not suitable.
Ge products. The V-belt fatigue test shall not be less than once per season.
6.5 V-belt needs to be type tested if there is a major change in structure, material or process in case of conversion, conversion, or resumption of production after production stoppage, V-belt type
In the case of inspection, the entire contents of Chapter 5 shall be examined.
7 Test methods
7.1 The appearance quality of the V belt, the damage of the angled canvas and the length of the flash are measured with a tape measure or a caliper, and the rest are checked by visual inspection.
7.2 The dimensions of the V belt are measured in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 11544.
The tensile strength and reference elongation of the 7.3 V belt shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3686. The reference force is as specified in Table 3.

7.4 For the bond strength test between cloth and top rubber, first cut two samples on the top of the V-belt, the sample is rectangular and the width is 10.0mm±0.2mm.
If necessary, the thickness should be appropriately thinned. And there is enough length to make the separation length in the measurement process not less than 100mm. Movement speed of the gripper
The degree is 100mm/min±10mm/min, and the value is obtained according to GB/T 12833, and the arithmetic mean of the two samples is calculated.
The 7.5 V belt has no torque fatigue life and the pulley center distance change rate is tested in accordance with GB/T 15328.
