Foreword
This Standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 10088-1988 “Module and diameter of cylindrical
worm”.
As compared with GB/T 10088-1988, the main changes of this Standard are as
follows.
- ADD the Foreword of the standard.

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the module and diameter of cylindrical worm.
This Standard applies to worms of cylindrical worm gears.

The worm module m is the axial module of worm. The worm module m shall be
selected according to the values specified in Table 1. The first series shall be
used preferentially.
