This standard replaces GB/T 10042-2003 "Clutch terminology".
The main technical changes compared with GB/T 10042-2003 are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard defines the terms of the clutch for mechanical contact.
This standard applies to mechanical contact of the clutch.

A device that has a splicing or splitting function when transmitting torque or motion on a coaxial line.
