1 Scope
This part of GB 7300 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling,
packaging, transportation, and storage for the feed additive urea.
This part applies to urea produced by the reaction of ammonia and carbon dioxide and
used as a non-protein nitrogen feed additive.

4.3 Sensory characteristics
It is white or light-colored particles by visual inspection under natural light.
4.4 Determination of total nitrogen content
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2441.1.
4.5 Determination of biuret content
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2441.2.
4.6 Determination of moisture content
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2441.3.
4.7 Determination of methylenediurea
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2441.9.
4.8 Determination of lead content
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 13080.
4.9 Determination of alkalinity
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2441.5.
4.10 Determination of particle size
It shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2441.7.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 The index items listed in the requirements of this part are all factory inspection
items, the products shall be inspected batch by batch, and the quality certificate shall be
attached.
5.2 Products that are produced and packaged with the same batch of raw materials in
the same shift, and have the same process conditions, the same batch number and
specifications, and the same quality certificates, are considered as one batch.
5.3 The number of sampling units shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T
14699.1. When sampling, insert the sampler into three-quarters of the depth of the
material layer, mix the obtained sample evenly, divide about 500 g sample by quartering
method, and place the sample into two dry, clean bottles with ground stoppers; paste a
label on each bottle to indicate the name of the manufacturer, product name, production
