This Standard is applicable to all M1 class vehicles of which the maximum design total weight does not exceed 3500kg, including vehicles capable of burning gasoline or diesel fuel, pure electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, and vehicles using gaseous fuels and alcohol-ether fuels. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. In 2025 and before, the fuel consumption converted from electrical energy consumption shall be calculated as zero.1) 4.1.3 For pure electric passenger cars, the electrical energy consumption shall be calculated according to GB/T 18386, which shall be converted to corresponding gasoline fuel consumption according to GB/T 37340. For other alcohol-ether fuel passenger cars, it shall, according to QC/T 1130, determine the alcohol ether fuel consumption and the equivalent gasoline or diesel fuel consumption. 4.1.8 For vehicles that use one or more off-cycle technology/device, the fuel consumption of its type can be reduced by a certain amount accordingly.2) 4.2 Target of fuel consumption of vehicle type 4.2.1 For passenger cars with seats below three rows3 ), the target of fuel consumption of vehicle type shall be calculated according to formula (1) ~ formula (3).
