modified from “not less than 90°C” to “4°C~90°C” (shown in Clause 1);
- Added product’s name (shown in 4.2);
- Deleted marks and examples (shown in 4.2 of 2003 Edition);
- Deleted ceramic surface quality and classification (shown in 4.3 of 2003
Edition);
- Modified requirements for material (shown in Clause 5, Clause 5 of 2003
Edition);
- Added supporting devices (shown in Clause 6);
- Deleted requirements for ceramic hardness (shown in 6.1.7 of 2003 Edition);
- Deleted air sealing performance test in water (shown in 6.3.2 of 2003
Edition);
- Deleted thermal fatigue test (shown in 6.3.4.4 of 2003 Edition);
- Added precipitation limit of metal contamination in faucets (shown in 7.4);
- Modified requirements for valve body strength properties (shown in 7.6.1,
6.3.1 of 2003 Edition);
- Added requirements for sealing performance of top shower and hand
shower switch (shown in 7.6.2);
- Modified requirements for faucet flow (shown in 7.6.3.1, 6.3.3 of 2003
Edition);
- Added requirements for sensitivity of single handle and double-pipeline
faucets (shown in 7.6.3.2);
Ceramic cartridge faucets
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and name,
materials, supporting devices, requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
marks, package, transport and storage of ceramic cartridge faucets (hereinafter
referred to Faucets).
This Standard is applicable to all kinds of faucets that are mounted on hot and
cold water pipeline ends in the building, of which the working pressure (static)
is not greater than 1.0 MPa and the medium temperature is between 4°C~90°C.
