This section applies to the inspection of seals and seals in the field of forensic science.
2 Equipment
microscope.
3 Inspection
3.1 Direct observation
Observe the characteristics of inspection materials and sample seals directly under natural light. Focus on observing the clarity, gloss, layering and stroke edges of the printed text
Morphology, ink squeeze phenomenon and ink (mud) bleeding traces, etc.
3.2 Microscopic examination
Under the appropriate magnification and light intensity of the microscope, the following inspections are performed on the inspection materials and sample prints.
a) Judgment on the formation method.
1) The seal is formed by the characteristics of the seal. the seal is monochromatic (some anti-counterfeit seals are multi-color), and the imprint is natural and dark.
Oil (mud) penetrates the inside of paper fibers, and some of the printed text and edges have oil diffusion phenomenon. Pay attention to the combination during analysis
Factors such as seal material and inking method, storage and use conditions.
2) The printed text is the characteristic of printing. the printed text is composed of color toner particles, color ink dots, printing ink and other color materials,
The graphic features of the printed text conform to the characteristics of a certain type of printing.
b) Discovery of detailed features. the printed features such as whiteness, defects, wear, defects, secrets, attachments (dirty prints) can be observed.
4 Make inspection records
The microscopic enlarged picture of the printed text should be placed in the feature comparison table, and the same enlargement ratio should be maintained. If necessary, the details of the seal
Features or callouts.
5 matters needing attention
When necessary, physical and chemical tests can be used to judge the formation of the seal.
