1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for on-site blood footprint extraction.
This standard applies to on-site blood footprint extraction in the field of forensic science.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1

The added or reduced layer footprint formed by the medium blood left at the scene of the criminal case or the place related to the case or event.
3 Equipment and environmental requirements
3.1 Equipment
SLR cameras, tripods, color filters, multi-band light sources, ultraviolet light sources, scales, cotton swabs, tweezers, etc.
3.2 Environmental requirements
Hygienic and clean, well ventilated, with dark field conditions.
4 General requirements for on-site blood footprint extraction
4.1 On-site blood footprint should be photographed and fixed, then extracted and packaged.
4.2 On-site blood footprint extraction personnel should use corresponding personal protective equipment, wear gloves, hoods, masks, etc. Human body extraction should be prevented
