1 Scope
This standard specifies the gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) qualitative and quantitative determination of paraquat in blood and urine of forensic science.

4 Principle
Using blank samples and added samples as controls, according to the requirements of parallel operation, extract, purify, and derivatize biological samples, using gas phase
Qualitative quantitative analysis of chromatography or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, with retention time, characteristic ion fragment peak of mass spectrometry and relative abundance ratio as qualitative judgment
According to the peak area, use external standard method or internal standard method for quantitative analysis.
5 Reagents and materials
5.1 Reagents
The water used for the experiment shall conform to the tertiary water specified in GB/T 6682.The reagents used in the analysis are all analytically pure, and the reagents include.
a) cyclohexane;
b) 6% perchloric acid aqueous solution. take 10% of 72% perchloric acid solution and add 110mL of water to mix;
c) Saturated sodium hydroxide solution;
d) 20% sodium borohydride solution. Weigh 2.0g of solid sodium borohydride, add 8.0mL of water to dissolve and mix well (use it now);
e) Standard solution.
1) 1.0mg/mL standard substance solution. According to the purity of the paraquat standard substance, weigh an appropriate amount and prepare 1.0mg/mL with water
The paraquat standard substance solution is stored in the refrigerator for a period of 6 months.
