This standard applies to a tester (hereinafter referred to as hydrostatic pressure gauge) for measuring the water penetration resistance of textiles at a constant rate of rise in water pressure.

4 Basic functions and parameters
4.1 Basic functions
The hydrostatic pressure gauge has constant pressure increase, pressure display and timing functions.
4.2 Basic parameters
4.2.1 The water pressure rise rate is 1kPa/min and 6kPa/min, or can be set arbitrarily within the range of 1kPa/min ~ 100kPa/min.
