Compared with FZ/T 01053-1998, this Standard has the following main changes. - Textile products not within the scope of this Standard are added in Appendix A. - Normative reference "Textiles - Man-made Fibres - Generic Names "(ISO 2076. 1999) is added in Appendix B. - Terms and definitions in Chapter 3 are added; - The original three chapters (i.e. marking requirements, marking principle and content tolerance) are adjusted to four chapters (i.e. fibre content labeling requirements, fibre content and fibre name, fibre content expression methods and fibre content tolerance). - The requirements of attachment mode of label, label quantity of whole set of products, label material and words on tag are added. - It makes clear that the mass of percentage content is the conventional mass. - "new type of fibre" and the provision that fibre morphology characteristics may be described are added. - The fibre content expression methods of different products are detailed, and examples are added. - Content deviation is simplified and unified as 5% (10% for filler), and the deviation of low content is added. - The chapter "Judgment of Conformity of identification of fibre content" is added. - Appendixes A, B and C are added. This Standard replaces FZ/T 01053-1998 from the implementation date. Appendix A is normative; Appendix B and Appendix C of this Standard are informative.
