1 Scope

This part of GB/T 32514 specifies the resistance current used for welding current measuring instruments or welding current measurement systems. The current sensor coil of the ring sensor is suitable for single phase AC (50Hz or 60Hz) and DC current.

ISO 669 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Current induced coil (toroidal coil) currentsensingcoil (toroidalcoil) A multi-roll coil in which the wire is wound on a non-magnetic skeleton with a constant cross-section for detecting the magnetic flux generated by the current. Note. The coil is wound around a skeleton and the measured current will pass through the skeleton. 3.2 Reference current sensing coil referencecurrentsensingcoil Used for calibration, with a higher current accuracy than the high accuracy accuracy specified in this section. 3.3 Conversion coefficient conversioncoefficient The ratio of the output voltage of the current sensing coil to the welding current. The unit is millivolts per kilo (mV/kA). Note. This value is proportional to the frequency of the current measured and uses 50Hz full-wave current as the test current. 3.4 Frequency response frequencyresponse The influence of the frequency characteristics of the test current on the conversion factor. 3.5 Accuracy accuracy The dispersion and deviation of the conversion factor. The output load of the current sensing coil has a large effect on the conversion coefficient value.
