GB/T 11918 "Industrial plugs and sockets and couplers" plan is divided into four parts. --- Part 1. General requirements; --- Part 2. Dimensional compatibility and interchangeability requirements for electrical accessories with latches and sockets; --- Part 3. (name to be determined); --- Part 4. Sockets and connectors with or without interlocks. This part is the first part of GB/T 11918. This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This part replaces GB/T 11918-2001 "Industrial plugs and sockets and couplers - Part 1. General requirements". 1 Scope

This part of GB/T 11918 specifies the technical requirements for the structure, mechanical properties and electrical performance of industrial plugs and sockets and couplers.
