1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of silk gum content test.
This standard applies to testing for silk and silk sericin content.

Principle 3
Use sericin dissolved in water, and the principle of silk in water only partially swollen but not dissolved with sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) solution melted
Sample silk glue, sericin dissolved sample after cleaning, drying, weighing, calculating the gum content.
