This Part is applicable to the linear accelerometer sensor used for M category, N category automobiles, of which the measuring range is ±1 g (hereinafter referred to as “the sensor”). Other motor vehicles can refer to this Part for implementation. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. GB/T 21437.2-2008, Road vehicles - Electrical disturbances from conduction and coupling - Part 2: Electrical transient conduction along supply lines only GB/T 28046.2-2011, Road vehicles - Environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment - Part 2: Electrical loads GB/T 28046.3-2011, Road vehicles - Environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment - Part 3: Mechanical loads GB/T 28046.4-2011, Road vehicles - Environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment - Part 4: Climatic loads GB/T 30038-2013, Road Vehicles - Degrees of Protection (IP-Code) - Protection of Electrical Equipment Against Foreign Objects, Water and Access QC/T 413-2002, Basic Technical Requirements for Automotive Electric Equipment GB/T 33014.1~33014.5, Part 1 ~ Part 5 of Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy 4.7 Resistance to temperature 4.7.1 Resistance to low-temperature storage After the sensor passes the -40°C low-temperature storage test, after it is recovered in the testing environment for 2 h, the performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.7.2 Resistance to high-temperature storage After the sensor passes the 85°C high-temperature storage test, after it is recovered in the testing environment for 2 h, the performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.7.3 Resistance to rapid temperature change After the sensor passes the -40°C low-temperature and 125°C high- temperature rapid change test, after it is recovered in the testing environment for 2 h, the performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.7.4 Working performance of resistance to low temperature When the sensor is subject to the resistance test to -40°C low-temperature, the performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.7.5 Working performance of resistance to high temperature When the sensor is subject to the resistance test to 125°C high-temperature, the performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.8 Resistance to damp-heat cycle After the sensor is subject to the damp-heat cycle test, the performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.9 Resistance to vibration The sensor shall be subject to random vibration test. After the test, the appearance shall not be damaged. The performance shall comply with the provisions of 4.2. 4.10 Protection performance The protective level for the sensor (except the connector) shall reach to IP5K6. 4.11 Electromagnetic immunity 4.11.1 The sensor shall comply with the provisions of 4.2 during the electromagnetic radiation immunity test. The test severity level shall be 5.6 Test of resistance to abnormal voltage 5.6.1 Test of power polarity reverse connection Carry out the test according to the provisions of 4.7.2.3 in GB/T 28046.2-2011, except the 5V sensor. 5.6.2 Test of power supply overvoltage Carry out the test according to the provisions of 4.3.1.1.2 or 4.3.2.2 in GB/T 28046.2-2011. The test voltage for the 5V sensor is 7 V. 5.7 Test of insulation withstand voltage Carry out the test according to the provisions of 4.11.2 in GB/T 28046.2-2011. 5.8 Test of temperature resistance 5.8.1 Test of resistance to low-temperature storage Carry out the test according to the provisions of 5.1.1.1.2 in GB/T 28046.4-2011. 5.8.2 Test of resistance to high-temperature storage Carry out the test according to the provisions of 5.1.2.1.2 in GB/T 28046.4-2011. 5.8.3 Test of resistance to rapid temperature change Carry out 30 times of rapid temperature change test according to the provisions of 5.4.2 in GB/T 28046.4-2011. In each cycle, the low-temperature retention time and high-temperature retention time shall be 60 min. 5.8.4 Test of working performance of resistance to low temperature Carry out the test according to the provisions of 5.1.1.2.2 in GB/T 28046.4-2011. NOTE: If the performance test is carried out outside the cryostat, it shall remove the sample from the cryostat and complete the test within 5 min. 5.8.5 Test of working performance of resistance to high temperature Carry out the test according to the provisions of 5.1.2.2.2 in GB/T 28046.4-2011. NOTE: If the performance test is carried out outside the high-temperature cabinet, it shall remove the sample from the high-temperature cabinet and complete the test within 5 min. 5.9 Test of resistance to damp-heat cycle According to the provisions of QC/T 413-2002, carry out 10 cycles of temperature/humidity combination cycle test at -10°C~65°C. Each cycle is 24 Type inspection shall be performed in one of the following cases: a) trial model identification for new product; b) great changes in structure, material, technique after official production which may affect product performances; c) not less than once two years for batch- or mass-produced sensors; d) production resumed after discontinued production of sensor for more than one year; e) great difference between exit-factory inspection results and previous type inspection results; g) required by national quality supervision organization. 6.3.2 Sampling and grouping The sample for type inspection shall be extracted from the same batch of samples that have passed exit-factory inspection and have been inspected as accepted. The quantity must not be less than 12. Re-inspect according to the exit-factory inspection items first. After they are inspected as accepted in re- inspection, divide the samples into 4 groups equally. Carry out the test according to the following grouping and item sequence. Group 1: temperature test, temperature/humidity combination cycle test, vibration test; Group 2: working voltage range, working frequency range, insulation withstand voltage test, electromagnetic immunity test, free fall test; Group 3: protection test; Group 4: durability test. 6.3.3 Determination for acceptance All the type inspection items for the sensor shall meet the requirements of the regulations. If one item fails, re-extract double number of samples to re-inspect the failed item. If it still fails, this batch of samples shall be determined as rejected. But if the durability test fails, it shall not re-extract sample.
