1 Scope
This Part specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
marking, packing, transportation and storage of non-woven of filters for passenger
compartment (hereinafter referred to as non-woven).
This Part applies to non-woven of filter for passenger compartment.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions, and those
defined in QC/T 795.1 and QC/T 795.2, apply.

ordinary filter media
non-woven filter media which are used for air conditioner filter for passenger
compartment with a filter efficiency less than 70%

activated carbon filter media
non-woven filter media which are used for air conditioner filter for passenger
compartment and contain activated carbon

tolerance of grammage
ΔG – tolerance of grammage, %;
M – actually measured grammage, g/m2;
m – nominal grammage, g/m2.
5.4 Tolerance of thickness
5.4.1 Determine thickness as specified in GB/T 24218.2.
5.4.2 Calculation result.

5.5 Tensile strength is as specified in GB/T 24218.3.
5.6 Permeability to air is as specified in GB/T 5453.

5.12 Determination of pH is as specified in GB 7573.
5.13 Sensory odours are as specified in GB 18401.
5.14 Determination of formaldehyde is as specified in GB/T 2912.1.
5.15 Determination of resoluble carcinogenic aromatic amine dyestuffs is as specified
in GB/T 17592 and GB/T 23344.
