4 Requirements
4.1 Raw materials for products
The raw materials, which are used in the production of tongue scrapers, shall meet the
corresponding national or industry standards.

5.1 Limits of toxic substances
Carry out test, according to the method specified in GB 19342.
5.2 Sensory indicators
5.2.1 Decolorization test
Use cotton, which is fully soaked in 65% ethanol, to vigorously wipe back and forth
100 times on the tongue scraper. Visually observe whether there is color on the cotton.
5.2.2 Appearance inspection
Carry out visual inspection, at a distance of 300 mm from the tongue scraper, under
natural light or 40 W light.
5.3 Bending resistance of handle
5.3.1 Instruments
5.3.1.1 The 0 N ~ 500 N tensile testing machine, which is equipped with reverser.
5.3.1.2 Constant temperature water bath: Accuracy ±1 °C.
5.3.1.3 Ruler: The precision is 1 mm.
5.3.2 Preparation of specimen
Measure from the top of the tail of the tongue scraper to 10 mm, to make the first mark.
Make the second mark, 65 mm down from this mark. Keep it at the temperature of (20
± 5) °C, for 4 h.
5.3.3 Test conditions
The temperature is (20 ± 5) °C. The descending speed of the testing machine is a
constant speed (100 ± 10) mm/min. The radius of the indenter is 6 mm, which acts on
the middle part of the two marks.
5.3.4 Measurement procedure
Put the specimen on the support. Align the two marks with the left and right supports,
respectively. The indenter is perpendicular to the axis of the specimen. Start the testing
machine. Take the reading, when the specimen breaks. OR stop loading, when the
The type inspection items are all the items required by this standard, which shall be
carried out, at a frequency not less than once every 12 months during normal production.
Type inspection shall also be carried out, in one of the following situations:
a) During the trial production and type identification of new products or old products
after trans-plant production;
b) After formal production, if there are major changes in structure, materials,
processes, which may affect product performance;
c) When production resumes after the product has been discontinued for 6 months;
d) When there is a large difference between the exit-factory inspection result and the
previous type inspection;
e) When the national quality supervision agency proposes a type inspection
requirement.
6.1.2 Exit-factory inspection
The products shall be inspected by the manufacturer and accompanied by a certificate
of conformity, before leaving the factory. The exit-factory inspection shall be carried
out batch by batch. The inspection items are the sensory indicators, safety indicators,
packaging appearance, which are specified in Chapter 4.
6.2 Group batching, sampling and judgment rules
6.2.1 The products shall be delivered in batches. The finished products of the same
specifications, which are produced with the same raw materials and the same process
conditions, shall form as a batch.
6.2.2 Sampling: Take the box as the unit. Based on the batch size, determine the sample
according to Table 3.
Randomly select box samples, at the delivery location or finished product warehouse.
Check all the small packages in the box, when checking and accepting the packaging
quality. Conduct inspection according to 4.5. The total acceptance rate is 10%. Then
randomly select 2 ~ 4 middle boxes from each box. Then take an equal number of
samples from each box, so that the total number of samples is not less than 24.
6.2.3 If the inspection is unqualified, samples can be taken from the double quantity of
