3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this Standard, the following terms and definitions shall apply.
3.1
Manual shaver
Combined by the segment and handle, it is the single-edged shaver that is used to
6.3.4 Sharpness of the blade cutting edge
Use the cutting machine with a blade cutting edge whose indicating value is 0.1N to test.
Cut the test paper as specified in Appendix A with the same cutting edge for five times.
The cutting depth of the test paper is 0.8mm-0.9mm. Take five cutting force values - C1, C2,
C3, C4, C5 respectively.
6.3.5 Corrosion resistance of stainless steel blade
Use the sodium chloride brine solution whose concentration is 1% for salt fog test. Place
the blade sample into the salt fog test chamber with a temperature of (30±2)°C. Keep
spraying for 6h. And observe the rust and color change situations of the blade after taking
it out.
6.4 Rotation angle β of the movable-type segment
Measure with a Vernier universal protractor.
6.5 Handle
Test the handle metal part surface coating by the timing-flow method stipulated in QB/T
3815 or metallographic microscopic method stipulated in QB/T3817. Handle oxide layer
shall be tested by the method stipulated in QB/T 3833.
6.6 Physical properties
6.6.1 Compressive resistance of the handle
6.6.1.1 Test device. Pointer-type push-pull gauge (the range is not greater than 200N).
6.6.1.2 Sample preparation. Take samples. Make a mark at 20mm from the top of the
handle head. Keep at temperature of (20 ± 5)°C approximately constantly for 1h.
6.6.1.3 Test conditions. Temperature of (20 ± 5)°C.
6.6.1.4 Test procedures. Place the sample on the bracket horizontally, with the pressure
head vertically acting on the marked axis of the sample. Choose one end of the pushing
force. Start to exert the pulling force evenly, until the sample is broken or the sample is not
broken while it is bent to the limit extent – read the reading pointed by the pointer (See
Figure 4).
6.6.2 Riveting tension of the segment
6.6.2 Test device. Pointer-type push-pull gauge (the range is not greater than 200N),
handle fixture; and steel wire.
6.6.2.2 Sample preparation. Measure the installed shaver from the top of segment to
35mm from the handle. Make a mark.
8.1.2 The small package, medium package of the shaver shall include the following
marks.
a) Trademark;
b) Product name and specifications;
c) Approved standard number;
d) Manufacturer's name, address, and contact details.
8.1.3 Exterior of each packaging box shall include the following marks.
a) Trademark;
b) Product name and specifications;
c) Marking of products;
d) Executive standard code;
e) Company name and address;
f) Ex-factory’s year and month;
g) Quantity;
h) Net weight, gross weight, volume (length × width × height);
i) Marks of keeping dry, upward, and handle with care.
8.2 Label
8.2.1 Inspection certificate shall be included inside the middle packaging box of
shaver.
8.2.2 Certification shall include the following.
a) Trademark;
b) Inspector (signature or code);
c) Manufacturing date;
d) Name of manufacturer.
8.3 Packaging
8.3.1 Packaging materials for shavers shall be clear, with uniform color and pattern
printed correctly, without chromatography, distortion, burrs and defects.
8.3.2 Bubble cap and paperboard for blister packaging shall be bonded firmly.
8.3.3 Packaging shall be with moisture-proof function. And it shall ensure no damage
under normal transport and storage conditions.
8.4 Transportation
8.4.1 When transport, it shall be handled with care, without throwing, rolling over or
stomping.
8.4.2 When transport, it shall keep dry, anti-squeeze and anti-rain.
8.4.3 It must not be transported with corrosive items.
8.5 Storage
8.5.1 Store room shall be in good ventilation. And the relative humidity shall be at most
80%.
8.5.2 Product storage shall be kept above-200mm away from the wall. And it shall
keep the distance of above-100mm from the ground. The product shall not be stored with
corrosive articles simultaneously.
