Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009
“Directives for standardization - Part 1.Structure and drafting of standards”.
This Standard is based on the market demand and the actual situation of
Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (referred to as Baosteel for short).
This Standard replaces BZJ 615-2013 “Carbon thick steel plate for mechanical
structure”. Compared with BZJ 615-2013, the main change in this Standard is
as follows.
- the reference number to the standard was modified to Q/BQB 615.
Annex A of this Standard is informative.

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, tests
and inspections, marks and quality certificates of carbon steel plates for
machine structural use.
This Standard is applicable to the carbon steel plates for machine structural use
that are produced by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
