Foreword
This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009 Directives for
Standardization – Part 1: Structure and Drafting of Standards.
This Standard was formulated according to the product and process characteristics of
this enterprise.
Pay attention that some contents of this Standard may involve patents. The issuing
agency of this Standard does not assume the responsibilities to identify these patents.
This Standard replaced Q/BQB 500-2018. Compared with Q/BQB 500-2018, this
Standard made the changes as follows:
--- Replace GB/T 18253-2000 by GB/T 18253-2018 in the Normative References;
correspondingly, modify subclause 5.1 “the type of inspection document shall
conform to the provisions of ‘5.1 B’ type of inspection document in GB/T 18253”
into “the type of inspection document shall conform to the provisions of ‘3.1’ type
of inspection document in GB/T 18253.”;
--- Modify Table 1, including adding the Packaging Mode C0-C5;
--- Modify Clause 4 “Marking” from “each wire rod shall be attached with at least two
labels” to “each wire rod shall be attached with at least one label”.

General Requirements of Packaging, Marking and
Inspection Document for Wire Rods
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the general requirements for packaging, marking and
inspection document of wire rods.
This Standard is applicable to the wire rods produced by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co.,
Ltd.
2 Normative References
The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For the
dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this
document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the
amendments) are applicable to this document.
GB/T 18253-2018 Steel and Steel Products – Types of Inspection Documents
3 Packaging
3.1 Wire rods shall be delivered in coils. Wire rods shall be bundled firmly and packed
neatly.
3.2 The packaging method of wire rods shall meet the requirements of Table 1. The
packaging method shall be specified in the contract. Packaging not specified in the
contract shall be carried out in accordance with the ordinary packaging reference
method (i.e. A0). It can also be packed by other methods after negotiation between the
supplier and the purchaser and indicated in the contract.
